Harry's Youth Theatre

Harry's Youth Theatre has been a resident youth group at Swansea Grand Theatre since it was founded in 2002.

Children dressed as Wizard of Oz characters on a stage.

It was set up to provide the children and young people of Swansea and the surrounding areas with qualified tuition in musical theatre. There is no entry audition to join Harry's - you just need enthusiasm and commitment.

Harry's stages a full-scale musical production each year on the main stage of Swansea Grand Theatre as well as an annual evening of variety. Alongside this, several smaller productions in the Depot Theatre space of the Arts Wing also take place during the year. Everyone is encouraged to audition for a part.

The group has capacity for 120 pupils over 3 age groups -

Minis - 3-6 years (5-6pm), Juniors - 6-11 years (5-7pm) and

Seniors - 11-19 years (7-9pm).

Each class covers all aspects of musical theatre - singing, dance and drama, and reaches out to all abilities.
